The fascists attacked Chick-fil-A simply because the CEO, on an evangelical cable network, said he supports traditional marriage. That's no reason to organize a boycott against a business. Then the fascists dug deeper and found out he donates to pro-marriage groups. They found that out right away. That's when the boycotts started. He donates money that he makes from the revenues of Chick-fil-A. Why should people want their money going to causes they don't like (NOTE: I personally don't care, and would still patronize CFA)? In Chicago Chick-fil-A was forced to prove they no longer donate to pro-marriage groups, in order to do business in that city. That's fascism. That's liberalism. No, that's not liberalism, that is fascism. Those two are mutually exclusive. Guinness and Sam Adams are boycotting and telling customers that if they support the St. Patrick's Day parade, we don't want your business. They know how to run a business better than you do (so, for that matter, does the CEO of Chick-fil-A). They calculated that they would win more business this way than the other way. |
