I'm late to respond to this so forgive me. First off, do you think all of all the thousands of marchers that paraded up 5th ave today were straight?Point being, Im sure that there were gay marchers that went up 5th ave today & didn't have a problem with marching within the rules set forth by the orginizers established. Why is that?? The Irish gay community is comming off as some sort of suedo-radical group that is bent on disruption to gain acceptance. As a child of the 60s, that tactic just dosen't work. It just alienates those that are on the fence about an issue. The fence sitters are surely to jump on the other side, not yours. You come off as cry babys that cant get their way. So lets dump some barrels of Guinness off a roof, that will teach em a good lesson. Screw the poor bastard that had to pay for them. You folks want consideration. Wheres the consideration there?? In the long run, more enemies will be made than friends. Bottom line,Right or wrong, change takes time. Don't ever forget that |
