If the plane has indeed crashed into the Indian Ocean, we are likely to never know what happened -- even if the plane is found.The cockpit voice recorders tape over themselves every 2 hours. If the plane kept flying for 5-7 hours after abruptly changing course, whatever commotion happened in the cockpit to allow that to occur will have been deleted. |
