Then please do tell me why, in Ireland, gays and lesbians are permitted, even encouraged, to participate in St. Patrick's Day celebrations and parades? When Mary McAleese, the President of Ireland, was invited to come to NYC and be the Grand Marshal of the AOH Parade, she turned them down, specifically citing their prohibition against gays and lesbians marching openly as the reason she demurred.Care to address that? |
