Oslo, Shmoslo.Here is the bottom line, without political bullshittery. No Palestinian leader will accept any deal with Israel that does not incorporate the key Palestinian demands: (1) right of return; (2) statehood in Gaza and the West Bank, with the dismantling of ALL settlements in the West Bank, without exception; (3) capital of Palestine in East Jerusalem. Any leader that does make such an agreement will end up like Sadat, with his head blown open. And Hamas has already repeatedly stated that it will not be bound by any peace deal reached by Fatah. It has gone on record that it will maintain a state of war with Israel no matter what. Ditto Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah. Every with a single working brain cell knows that these talks are fruitless and a waste of time. |
