We were still too busy at the time fulfilling Bush's mission to take over Iraq so we could hand it over to Iran. Once we removed Saddam from the picture, Iran could concentrate on Syria next. Knowing that we were all stretched out in Iraq and Afghanistan. Might have been different if we'd bulked up for the "war effort" but instead we got tax cuts and were told to go shopping by the former commander in chief. Some war effort, huh? |
