When was it that Obama, or any sitting president for that matter, made an attempt to directly influence the outcome of Israel's national elections to get a candidate more palatable to their own outlook elected? I don't care how much a president has "pissed off" a foreign leader -and last time I checked, he's charged with holding our interests paramount, even above Israel- you don't go screwing with the democratic election process in a sovereign state, particularly an ally Israel depends upon for an inordinate proportion of their defense budget. |
