Obama's lack of onus on the Palestinians has been a constant problem in his efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Obama's inability to understand how other foreign leaders prefer to work (the best way to get things done in the Middle East is to talk behind the scenes, and not to air out issues publicly the way Obama does whenever Bibi is on his way to the US) is a significant reason in why foreign leaders don't particularly like how Obama handles himself when it comes to diplomatic efforts. |
