I think same-sex marriage is a hotter issue to "the base" than abortion."The base"(hey, that would be a great name for a wrestling clique), does not care about abortion because the babies are from Democrat communities. They only care that their tax dollars aren't funneled into the practice. Eventually The Church will be forced to rent out their space so same-sex marriages can be performed. One way or the other same-sex marriages will take place in churches in this country in my lifetime. |
