The GOP generated the headline that folks were going to get kicked out of their jobs. That is not at ALL what's going on their analysis of what effects there would be. The CBO report states quite clearly that many will LEAVE the workplace voluntarily now that they have insurance coverage until they're old enough for medicare and that others would take their place.As to part time, that's what ALL businesses have been doing lately for flexibility and having people on hand if more hours are required as the economy eventually improves. Part time people can expand to fuller time without having to hire new or training them when the demand goes up. Lrn2economics, bro ... |
