Listen, I've posted this here before. Income inequality is a massive problem in America and neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are addressing it correctly. The Democratic solution is to build up the social welfare net and increase taxes to the rich (which for a variety of reasons is understandably offensive to many). The Republican solution is "trickle down" economics which concentrates power with the wealthy while eroding the middle and lower classes (also offensive to many). |
