Absolutely ... and government service is no cakewalk. Folks who do it DESERVE their pension in lieu of the shitty salaries. But again the point is here we have someone who's biting the tit that fed them throughout their career. If you hate "big government" and have a problem with people "collecting" then maybe you should have made other life choices.I fully enjoyed my time with the Cable Commission - I felt that I earned my check every day and then some. I was PROUD of "performing the people's duties." Not so much so with some of the other agencies I worked with, which is why I moved on. Train Dick should be proud of his work and like me, fight on behalf of those coming up behind us and ensure that THEY get a good deal for that work as well. Crickets. :( |
