AMD Athlon X2 4800+ (got a really good deal on it; otherwise there's no way I could even dream of affording that...)
4GB PC3200 RAM @ 400mhz
4x 10,000RPM 18.5GB SCSI drives in a RAID 0-1 config. ($25 each on Overstock.com, great site, although one was defective, which I had to return... :( )
Adaptec SCSI RAID controller
2x ViewSonic 21" P225f Flat CRTs (my school threw them out!) at 2048x1536, on an ATI Radeon x800.
Plain InWin Case that I found on the street :)
Windows 2000 (I can't stand XP)
Laptop: (Sony VAIO PCG-505g)
Pentium Processor at 200mhz
96mb RAM
10.4" LCD
2.1gb HDD
No onboard CD ROM/Floppy
1.4kg travel weight; .9cm thick/25cm wide/20cm long (its dimensions/weight are the primary reason I bought it used from my friend, for $35.)
Windows 2000 (which surprisingly, after a lot of optimization, it runs well!!)
