I like the guy who shows how world poverty has dropped so wonderfully by defining poverty as less than $1 per day (even in 1987 dollars). Yes that's good, and important, but it's not as though $2 per day actually allows you to live even a halfway decent life.that's a standard measure among people who study developing economies. |
