Keep in mind, this whole story was broken by a couple of LOCAL journos--remember THEM?--two kids from the Bergen Record who refused to take Christie's ridicule, and chased the smoking gun down. Local journalism gets a VERY bad rap, but it's almost always the little rags that break the big ones...and the editor at the Record had the presence of mind to let his kids run with it... |
