At one point advocating separate but equal treatment of races, religions or sex was not only considered OK, it was considered benevolent. Nowadays anybody who advocates such a thing is properly derided. While I will defend to my death their right to their own opinion, it's about damn time that opposition to same sex marriage is treated as unacceptable. |
