I get where you are coming from, just looking to enlighten from the "other side".I hold the Vatican to a different standard than Israel. One is a religious state. One is not (officially). I don't have a problem with the fact they read the "Shema" and a section of "Pirkei Avot" on Army Radio each morning (and I think Kol Yisrael does something similar), but I think the Parliament could do better than they did on this one. |
