If relgious groups, which function within the so called "free market" are permitted to exclude basic healthcare to half the population, they will not be served and the "free market" will provide no solution.Use of contraceptives is a personal action that does not extend to others beyond one particular relationship. It is based upon one's personal beliefs WRT their sexual behavior, and hopefully, a good dollop of common sense regarding the chances of the couple functioning as responsible parents and safety WRT preventing disease. If a religion's teachings don't provide a compelling enough message regarding contraceptive use, then those who develop their message ned to rethink and rework it. Imposing such, as allowing bans, is unworkable as a matter of faith, what about free will? It is transparent oppression. |
