You're making a fine distinction here.The holocaust is to the slave trade as murder with intent to kill is to murder resulting from depraved indifference to human life. The number of dead were roughly comparable (in the millions) and the victims were just as dead either way. Have you ever chided anyone here for calling Obama a Nazi? That's a far bigger insult to Jews than calling the slave trade comparable to the holocaust. |
