BTW: To add ... I was around and doing journalism after Nixon brought us the "Southern strategy" ... it was a WHOLE lot more than just winning int he 1968 election, it was a "plan" for America, and we're LIVING it. There's many reasons why I pulled the plug on the republican party once I saw what I'd read back then coming to fruition. Reagan and his Nixon henchman merely finished the job. And THEN they lost California once it all came together.But yeah, my repulsion for republicans goes all the way back there. And they refuse to stop. |
