Of course they believe that. Everyone with one working brain cell knows that Evangelicala are supporting Israel because they think doing so will compel the return of Christ.

What I'm afraid of is that if their efforts fail, they will blame the Jews who refuse to convert and seek to kill all of them. Just like the Inquisition.
