How many properties do you own in NYC to know what market rent is in some of the neighborhoods?I own one, and speak from direct first hand experience. I could never get more than $1500 in the building I own, no matter HOW nice I made the apartment. And neither could anyone else in the neighborhood (I know many landlords that completely gutted apartments and everything is new, and they still only get about $1500 tops MARKET rent, and are STILL under rent Stabilization at those numbers. And this is a good neighborhood, that was never bad. |
