I think the problem WRT loss of mental faculty is that one has to have some to lose to begin with. He doesn't even have the brains to smash his radio into little bits and then either mail it to me or recycle it properly. Just that simple act may restore some sense to the guy if this is a reversible problem.I do believe a correlation has been made between volcanic activity and ionosphereic activity as volcanos disrupt the magnetic metals within the earth. This activity affects radio reception. I think it is far more important to ensure there is enough activity of this nature to ensure radio signals do not travel well. This may limit the madness to known controllable geographic areas that can then be evacuated. It is my personal opinion that once the brain is no longer fed daily fallacy, the process of idiotization may be self-reversing. If you recall like me,Like getting someone out of a cult.
