For the record, a person may never have taken an antibiotic in their lives, pick up and infection, be treated with that antibiotic, and have the bacteria be resistant to that antibiotic.So the human hasn't overused the antibiotic, 30 years ago the bacterium was always susceptible to the antibiotic, and yet now the bacterium isn't. |
