Hate to break it, but yeah ... never seen such silly anywhere else. Prior to actually tuning in for the LA morning or lunchtime news shows since I usually woke up around noon out here or later, I thought the OJ chase was a one of a kind thing. Apparently though, I found out that if someone goes through a red light out there, all helicopters are in the air waiting for the car to lose its tires, go airborne and down the side of a bridge abutment. :)Life must be pretty boring out there if something like that pre-empts a Presidential speech, much less the judge shows. Heh. |
