The 3 charges that were dismissed were because the state did not prove that the 3 specific fetuses were born alive. However, one of his former employees has already testified that "Baby C" lived for 20 minutes before it was killed. It would also seem that the state proved that the other 3 were born alive as well. I think that he's toast. I also think that this should not become a referendum on legal abortion. Instead it should be a trial about infanticide - nothing more and nothing less. |
