I don't see any need for there to be a god. The universe works just fine without one.It's such vague reasoning: I don't need God. I have a universe that seems to work ok on its own. How do you know it works ok? Because it does what? What you want it to do? What it "should" do? Who decides if it is working ok or not? What end does it serve? If it has no meaning or end, then there is no basis on which to judge a need for God. I still go the other way and say that the only explanation for a universe/cosmos that did not have to be is a force that arranged it from without and that is the real necessary force. To tie up and ignore the question of the origin of the cosmos as we know it is what requires an explanation, more so than why one looks for a source of the universe. |
