No, it is not.An agnostic atheist claims that there is no way to prove that there is a god, but that it is unreasonable to believe in an unproved assertion with no rational basis. A gnostic theist believes that there is absolutely no god. Not even Dawkins is a gnostic atheist. An agnostic theist believes that there is no way to prove that there is a god, but believes in god nonetheless. Both kinds of agnostics distinguish between belief and knowledge. |
