I find it amusing to hear Today's so called "conservatives" speak on what it like to BE conservatives..A pail shadow of its former self,taken over by these self righteous self serving prudes..religious fanatics..racist degenerates..This NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY is the splitting image of the OLD DEMOCRATIC party from years gone by..full of stuffed shirts..overweight noxious barons with sever delusions of grandeur..with a taste for white hooded head gear, robes and cross burnings. The TRUE UGLINESS of this election was shown by the actions of those who certainly didn't feel in any uncertain way that it was perfectly fine to resort to despicable methods in order to "win"..something completely overlooked and ignored by this NEW group of stalwart citizens that desire to represent US as the face of our nation.. Perhaps,the "truths" that we suppose to ALL hold dear is only legitimized for SOME and not all..at least according to the party that somehow dismissed various civil rights violations under some "new law" making VOTER SUPPRESSION "legal"..thus attempting to intimidate various "non white" communities.. along with other despicable tactics. This attempt to attack our core beliefs that all men are created equal,is a slap in the face at the so called AMERICAN VALUES tripe..its only valuable IF it works.. How-ever,You blatant confused statement shines a very dull light on what is perceived by the far right as "gloating",when you know for a fact that THAT'S ALL your group has been doing over the last several months..gracefully bowing out was out of the question even after the results were in! Yes,there WAS PLENTY of "whining"..YES,There was PLENTY of gloating! Yes there was PLENTY of disrespect from the right AND left..ALL of that plus MORE.. But what gets me is this..now that ALL of that is over..all of the underhanded crap that bought us to THIS MOMENT,IS DONE...Why do we continue focusing on the so called PERCEIVED NEGATIVES..and refuse to find a COMMON GROUND out of all of this ? What can HELP US..rather than hurt us..rebuilding a stronger foundation..where we can ALL BENEFIT? Putting aside the back biting..fighting about who's side is right or wrong..and seek out a way we can stand WITH each other. This is the only way we are going to accomplish our goals. |
