The more we insist on living in areas vulnerable to flooding, the more these things are going to happen. And as we continue to burn and consume fuel willy-nilly, these things are going to happen more and more frequently. I don't see some of the parts of the South Shore bayfront here on Long Island ever being rebuilt. Makes no sense at all. Before too long, Montauk Highway will be bay front property.wayne |
