Posted by SignGuy on Mon Jan 14 11:35:06 2008 Had a quick tour of the Regional Rebuild Center of LACMTA on Saturday evening. The 1999/2000 New Flyer C40's, 5000-5222 are going thru a midlife campaign and changing out all of the DD engines to Cummins.5095 5175 The exaust section is also being reworked. Here is a photo of the original. (See modified above on 5175) Other various inside photos..... Some of the other buses there...... 5439 7068 is one of the training buses. 4747 is also a training bus. 9594 is the last bus bus of the 95 bus order (9500-9594). |

I couldn't tell whether 9594 is a 60 or 65-footer. |

I love LA Metro's color scheme and interior on the 1995 and later buses (which Valley Metro in Phoenix copied to a degree, but with blue seats instead of rainbow seats). |
