In 2006 while going to Las Vegas from San Diego, my wife and I stopped in Bakersfield to get gas and get more gas at Denny's. After leaving Bakersfield on the Interstate to go to Vegas, there seemed to be a used bus lot on the right (south) side of the road just outside of town. Wonder if the bus is stored there or just a coincidence in the listing. |

That's why I thought it was FIRST used by Hollywood to shot something New York related (ala Redbrids in Cali for "Money Train"). Figured that the Church bought it at auction from a film studio with the NYCT markings.....Otherwise it makes no sense why a church in Cali would go around with a bus marked for NYCT? And I thought that when NYCT sells former buses they remove the markings/logos before it leaves the property (or stipulates in the sale that the new owners must do it themselves)? |
