Also, what is that sign on Norwalk Transit buses 167 and 225?

Gotta love those Nova Classics. If you want to check out some Classics, Stamford is the place to be. It's the closest to NYC that has them.
Nice pics.

That bus looked extremely new, perhaps only one or two months old. That was the ONLY one I saw yesterday, and I was there through multiple pulses to take pics of Coastal Link buses.

Except they always had those oversize destination signs which I never liked. I prefer the smaller destination signs that were on the NYC private company classics.

What a double standard here. Trevor's pics are not much different (and I read his posts, seeing the same angles and nothing more).

Regarding 326 -- isn't that actually owned by the Milford Transit District? Its livery looks a bit different from the CT Transit buses, and I don't see any mention of "CT TRANSIT" anywhere on the bus.

BTW, I like the new I-BUS wrap...

For those down in DC, IINM, the new C40LFRs have the exact same sign. It might be a Luminator Spectrum...and it does look capable of multiple colors.

326 which I have marked as Milford came from the 2003 order of 90 buses for CT Transit (6 went to the Coastal Link, and 5 (of D40LFs and D35LFs) were leased to SEAT.) (Some 500s were also leased to SEAT to retire their Classics, which were owned by CT Transit.)

IINM, there are 6 32x buses owned by CT Transit but leased out for use on the Coastal Link, as well as D40LF suburbans 135 and 136.

(APPROXIMATE LIST of leasings)

325 and 326 are leased to the Milford Transit District, 327 and 328 are leased out to GBTA, and 329 and 330 are leased to Norwalk Transit District.

Similarly, CT Transit has leased 135 and 136 for the Coastal Link, and 133 and 134 are leased to HART in Danbury for the 7 Link.

(Then you have buses leased to SEAT, which I will find out about next week when I complete my do-over of my CT Transit gallery.)

Here is a comparison, comparing it to Waterbury Division bus 385. (GBTA piggybacked off the order as well, but its D40LF and D35LF buses are owned by GBTA, save 327 and 328.)

Both buses have the same paint scheme, and both have the same specs and are in the same numbering scheme...and that is NOT the Milford Transit paint scheme on that bus. (How I know that Milford operates the bus is based on the farebox---it isn't electronic.) (Also, if you see one of these buses, on the door rear, the bus has the ConnDOT logo on it, which will be a telltale sign.)

If you are still confused, please respond, and I will try to make a better clarification. Hope this helps.

What I was alluding to was the interior design of the O7's, which for starters is very dark and has the most bizarre seat pattern scheme I've seen: multi-colored polka dots on a black base. Ugly scheme for an ugly bus.

I feel compelled to do another all-day circle trip to chase those Advantages when I get a chance...
