There were two divisions. Liberty lines Express was under (NYCDOT), and ran the red, black, and white colored express buses. Liberty Lines Transit runs the Bee-Line buses (WCDOT). Both divisions were headquartered at 475 Saw Mill River Rd. All drivers for both divisions were hired from there. When the merger happened some drivers went to MTA bus, and those with a few years left with Liberty, went to the Bee-line, to finish their time out with Liberty Lines. |

In any event, I think some people have gone waaaaaaaaay overboard with the 56K warnings. I think they are largely unnecessary. |

I agree, because network access isn't divided into two blanket categories ("fast" and "56K"), and different people have different tolerances for waiting. Also, ever since Mosaic, the user could always cancel the display of a web page if it was taking too long for their tastes.It seems like a lot of people use 56K warnings rather than take the time to be selective with the photos they post in the message itself. I don't think there's a strict upper limit, but 15 is probably too many in most cases. |

When I had 56k I would probably read the newsppr or such to occupy the time of course if it went on over 5min I'd just pick a pic at random and select it specifically.Now like Terrapin Station it is about 3-5 seconds for all of it to load. |
