Posted by QM18Express on Sun Sep 17 23:58:55 2006 And it's true! Just came back home from riding 9967 on the Q25 and that bus is a true oddball in the college point fleet(Maybe not). This thing now has 3 things.1. New Back Door 2. Ex NYCT seats with 2X1 seating put in and it was nice and clean! 3. Brand New W/C lift! The lift is pretty much like on the new Bee Line O5's but the handle is silver. The pic may not be good but it backs up my case. Be on the look out for 9967!

The rear doors were pushed inwards thus the reasons for the new lift and cleanliness.Ex-Transit seating-guess they were trying something out to see how it looks. It does look awkward. I'll be on the lookout. I think they will do something with 9874 as well. |

They did a pretty good job with 9967! I do agree that having 2X1 seating on a Ex QSC bus is awkward as I am not used to it! I do find it a bit roomer to walk in then the NYCT counterparts. Bus moves pretty nicely and the headlights seem brighter as well as the inside lights |

Aren't the NYCT and MTA Bus Orion Vs the same width? How is it roomier if the NYCTs and 9967 both have the same seat configuration? |

What's also funny is that the 2×1 on Orions is the reverse of what's in this picture. The single seats are on the right sie. This one was done like the RTS's with the single seats on the left side. |
