Yes anyone older than you is "old". Do you know that 20 year olds think you are "old"? Age is all relative, but you are just too dumb to realize that. I was referred to as a "young man" in a nursing home. I bet some of them have more sense than you do.Completely irrelevant to what I said. But thanks for wasting your time. Not everyone who you think is old is senile and confused. Maybe you know more about the Internet than those in a nursing home, but I bet there are many subjects they know a hell of a lot more than you do. You need to respect your elders, not berate them. One of the many things you were never taught.Wow, you're clueless. Maybe you know more about the Internet than those in a nursing homeThat's the whole point!!!!!!!! So we agree!!!! So according to you, every one who reads something on the Internet, responds. No, I made it 100% clear that that's not what I think. You're hopeless. You are in your own dream world. I ALREADY PROVED TO YOU THAT ON A SITE THAT COUNTS VIEWS, over 100 people read a post and NONE responded. Are you saying their statistics are inanacurate? YOU WOULD NEED CONCRETE PROOF TO ASSERT THAT.See previous response. |

I will also add that he never addressed my comment about "adequate clearance." A car you are pulling in front of who accelerates will be no danger if you change lanes in front of him with ADEQUATE CLEARANCE. I will also add warning (turn signal). |

I read I quite rightly.(a) Right turns. Both the approach for a right turn and a right turn shall be made as close as practicable to the right hand curb or edge of the roadway or, where travel on the shoulder or slope has been authorized, from the shoulder or slope. That is exactly what I did. It is telling you NOT TO MAKE A WIDE RIGHT TURN as you stated to give someone else behind you the opportunity to also make a right turn on your right. |

I disagree with that. However if BrooklynBus weren't obsessed with following made-up laws, he could turn into the left lane and give room to another person to enter the intersection. Of course, he's not required to. But unless he needs that right lane for some other reason, it's just common courtesy. |

Adequate clearance assumes both drivers are going at a constant speed. You have no control over someone else's actions and if the other car decided to step on the accelerator a fraction of a second before you got in front of him, what might have looked like adequate clearance to you may not be so adequate and you may cause him to have to hit his brake to avoid a collision. That is not good driving practice.Turn in your license now!!! You shoukd never be driving faster than everyone else on the road if in order to do so you have to be constantly switching lanes. |

I did. Here it is: and method of turning at intersections. The driver of a vehicle intending to turn at an intersection shall do so as follows: (a) Right turns. Both the approach for a right turn and a right turn shall be made as close as practicable to the right hand curb or edge of the roadway or, where travel on the shoulder or slope has been authorized, from the shoulder or slope. Where does it say you should make a right turn not into the rightmost lane so another car can also make a right turn into the lane on your right? It says the exact opposite that you shoukd turn into the rightmost lane. You are reading what you want to read, not what is printed. |

I am not changing my story as to what happened? Why do you keep lying?Yes you are. No I'm not. Yes I may originally have stated it was five feet. Then others corrected me and said it was 25 feet. So if I now agree with them, I AM WRONG FOR DOING THAT. If I continue to insist it is five feet, I AM STILL WRONG FOR NOT LISTENING TO WHAT "EVERYONE ELSE" is telling me. As I previously stated, ACCORDNG TO YOU, ANYTHING I SAY OR DO IS WRONG AND THERE IS NO SCENARIO WHERE IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ME TO BE RIGHT.Wrong. You didn't "may have" originally stated it was 5 feet. You DID state that it was five feet. So are you now admitting you were 100% wrong here: Re: Fighting the DOT S(BS) on Woodhaven Blvd (318330)? Are you now admitting that I was 100% right in my responses to that post? Many drivers keep excessive distance.Your scenario would not be possible with adequate clearance and warning as the driver would see your turn signal and movement, and there would be plenty of time to compensate if not. By your logic, all lane changes are dangerous. |
