Another thing: It must've been prepared before the TA and MaBSTOA designated the Fifth-Madison-Seventh Avenues (ex-FACCo) 2 route as 2A, as the map makes it look like there were two 2 "branches": the Lenox Avenue branch (actually ex-NYCO) terminating at Lenox and 146th, and the Seventh Avenue branch that went all the way to 168th and Broadway. Also, how long did that particular M-13 iteration last? If only the ex-FACCo 10 (way upper) Broadway were so lucky in terms of being on a bus map. |

In answer to the M-13 question: From research by 'IRTRedbirdR33', that was the reconstituted Journal Building line as run from 1954 to 1966 (given the stylized R38 approximation on the cover - and how the first of that class arrived in the summer - the map was prepared before that route's discontinuance) and again from 1970 to 1971. And known at a later stage as M-15S. |
