That must have been the case because in Virginia any speed that is 20 mph over the posted limit or over 80 mph anywhere in Virginia is a class 1 misdemeanor which is 1 step below a felony. |

It's funny I drove a truck in the city for years back in the 70's and 80's and I don't remember seeing a speed limit sign. We just kept up with traffic making most of the lights uptown or going downtown. |

What's more insane is you have 70 mph speed limits on Virginia highways and if you go 80 mph which is 10 mph over, its a misdemeanor. Also radar detectors are illegal in Virginia too and cops have detectors that detect radar detectors. |
