A cheap fence is the only thing that seperates it The CNG Orion 05s are from 1993... yeah they're that old ! ![]() If my hand was a little higher, I wouldve cut myself on the barb ![]() SunMetro 9123 & 9155 ... both are 1991 TMC RTS 08s ![]() SunMetro # 9429 .... a 1994 NewFlyer L40HF ( yes, they are LNG powered ). Theyhave DD50G + Allison B400 ![]() like the pipe ??? ![]() SunMetro #0405 ... 2004 NewFlyer C35LF DD50G+Allison ![]() ![]() |

As I recall, the Sun Metro yard is also very close to I-10, I saw it during my drive from L. A. to South Florida in 1998. One of the 9100s pulled up next to me while I was on the surface road of I-10 (at that point, I-10 is elevated and the surface road is underneath, but I wasn't able to get a pic) :( Nice to see that they are still in service. |

All of El Paso's remaining RTS's (both the 91xx and 93xx series) are RTS-08's, hence the slide-glide front doors. SunMetro was the first TA to buy the RTS-08 after the CTA's launch order and was one of the few TA's to have faith in the model given its struggles.Also, I could swear that there's a second SunMetro yard near the airport which services their paratransit fleet (cutaways and 30' Blue Birds). Less of a thrill but good nonetheless. |
