There were a few of those buses here, back in 2010, but they were transferred out, when the RTS's popped up here from Brooklyn! Hope they stay until retirement! |

However , the thing to remember is this bus is based at Eastchester depot. We were privvy to see these in April on the MBS convention. They were marked as out of service/ scrap. These ex Bee Line buses never ran from here, only in Queens. This is a total "knock the sox off" experience.Something told me to got to Pelham Bay today. jrc |

The Bees that are assigned to the ECH depot are not permitted on the Q-50. The MTA does not want them to "risk breaking down on the bridge or in queens" They are restricted to the Bx-23 only and are only allowed to avg. 52 miles per day. |

You don't get it.You'll never get it till you're an older person and your body starts breaking down with arthritis. It is so easy for an older person to get on and off with a low floor, and the wheelchair lift is so much simpler with low maintenance. You will NEVER see high floor local bus/transit in this city ever again. Take that to the bank! |
