I heard thats there more to this. I can't saw what for now, but I think buses have been cough doing other thing in that lane. My wife said all Academy Bus drivers had to sing a letter saying if they are cough in the lane they will be fired NQA. |

I think the issue is that the DOT never established any rules or regulations regarding the use of the bus lane (speed limit, right of way, etc), other than the hours of which they can be used. At least that's what I got out of the article. |
