Bus on Route 75 -Philadelphia. |

Posted by TransitChuckG on Wed Jun 15 13:13:43 2011 Due to a shortage of Trolley Coaches, the 75 is running buses weekdays.My friend took this photo with an all too common sign. Seems like SEPTA loves calling all the Terminals, Transportation Centers.

The trackless was SEPTA's first "R" front for restyled. When the 834X and up hybrids came to us, they had virtually the same front.So from the front view, the TT and hybrid almost look the same, the fins on top may be a little different, I'd have to look closer. Side views of both TT's and bus hybrids are dead giveaways. |

We'll see how long this lasts ,with all trackless.Out of 38 coaches, 4 are off property and 4 are in the shop. They can run all the AM load lines(Rtes. 59, 66, & 75) with 30 coaches if nothing else breaks down. Another question of why they only bought 38 coaches in the first place. |
