Posted by R22 Shoal Point on Tue Aug 17 22:24:38 2010 As of this month 89 Fishbowls remain at the TTC. By December 2010, 42 are expected to be retained. They will all be retired by the end of 2012.The TTC is considering preserving two 1983 Fishbowls as historical vehicles to compliment their historical rail fleet that is available for charters and special events. Outlined in this TTC document. |

Yes, #621 is the MTB/TM bus, while #623 is the one for the parts. #621 is now usually seen at the TM's annual Bus Festivals in the fall of the calendar year in Brooklyn.-William A. Padron ["Q19B"] |

I wish CP and LGA would remove the MTA and MTA Bus logos off of the front of QSC 275 and TCC 621. Here's what I mean:The whole point of saving the buses from the DOT is for their history and prosperity. You do not see any of the other museum buses from the DOT / MTA Bus with MTA logos on them. BTW-TCC 623 still looks mostly in tact. I do not know its future status if it will ever be fixed up and / or brought elsewhere. I was quite surprised to see Jamaica Bus Lines 3001 in Hershey, PA back in June. I clearly thought this bus was scrapped: You never know...623 could follow suit someday...if it ever gets repaired. |

They are operating out of the Wilson and Mount Dennis garages. Best bets to find Fishbowls lately have been routes 6, 52, 59 and 71 and occasionally on the 90. |

I've heard some areas in Canada still have Classics around...Montreal comes to mind. That may be, but that's more than 300 miles from Toronto. It's like saying you have to get to Chicago before CyRide retires their Fishbowls. |
