I sure miss them here in NYC. However, the MTA has gotten rid of them all together for the exception of those hideous looking strip ads on the sides.IMO, it is just getting worse and worse to be in NYC by the second. Good thing GBTA has the wraps; sort of a boring system these days. Of course the Gillig Phantoms liven it up a bit.BTW for the map/ timetable collectors: GBTA has issued a state of the art booklet of maps & scheds. Can be gotten free at the bus terminal rack. joe |

I'm not a big fan of the current CT Transit/GBTA/SEAT blue and silver paint scheme, but I can't stand full bus wraps in general and the ones found on Connecticut buses are particularly tacky (most of them seem to be advertising the services of ambulance-chasing lawyers). |
