...here are a few pix taken a few week ends ago on the MetroNY Bus Association's Long Island fling. HJ was a great host to us; we saw some of their coaches and a few Suffolk County transit buses that carry the HJ legals.

Those are absolutely great pics - funny part is that I have seen every Prevost model they have because of their service pattern originating on 86th Street in Manhattan - I live down the block from their stop.

86th and 3rd, one of the best kept secret locations for taking transit pics - you get practically everything depending on the time of day you show up (MTA Bus Eastchester & Yonkers, NYCT 100th Street Division buses, Academy Bus casino line runs, Hampton Jitney and Hampton Luxury Liner/Classic Coach line runs, Coach USA/Shortline and private charter outfits all frequent the corner - check it out!)

I know I asked this question before, but is the livery on #104 a temporary thing or a test to see if this is a new livery for them.

Also where does vehicle # 100 (fifth picture) operate or is it a charter vehicle?

I guess that all of the Sunrise Coaches acquired in the buyout have been repainted.

How does one join the MetroNY bus association? There is no website.

100 is a charter vehicle. But to add to your question: Are all of the buses housed in Southampton, or are coach buses still housed in Greenport?

With the way the operation is set up, most of the buses are at Southampton at the Omni - there should still be a few around in Greenport (that's quite a deadhead over to the North Fork for line service), but I could be wrong...

To add, 100 is often used on the Foxwoods run as well as general charters - 104 is a full-body paint job that HJ will keep on permanently to promote their contribution to green travel - the Sunrise fleet (the Prevost LeMirage models) have NOT been repainted, they still bare the pink stripe, with the Hampton Jitney logo on the front.

We were right next to each other, 'specially at LI Bus. We nodded in friendly exchanges and EYE figured you knew me. I'm sure you do, actually.
Ask the good Dr Casca. He'll let U know.

Not all of them. Here is a photo of Hampton Jitney 95 taken on the trip:
