Most of these splits are school trippers as such the case in Queens witht he Q17, Q20A, Q20B, Q44 and Q76 being split between Casey Stengel and Jamaica. Q27, Q31 and Q88 between Casey Stengel and Queens Village. |

Why was Amsterdam transferred over from the Bronx division to the Manhattan division after all of this time?Also, does anyone know why the M116 is a split now with 100th if most of those runs were formerly splits with the M15? |

How would that even work, aren't there less than 10 runs on that route?As for LIB being BK north my guess is that has to do with BK north having the surface hq. This is a minor detail but I wonder if they'll change the decals for AMS and MTA Bus to match the respective divisions. |

I have been on a school supplement B 49 bus from time to time. It can be an annoying trip (but I do remember when I was some of these kids ages and how I act). In terms of boarding the bus don't expect to get on at a school supplement stop. |

For years where you're from but when I use to live in Queens, I took the Q28 from Bayside H.S. and the FIRST STOP was Francis Lewis Blvd. In my senior year (1997), ALL Q28 school trippers stopped along 32nd Av before Francis Lewis Blvd and the driver told me that people complained to the MTA.When I was in JHS (Ryan JHS at that time...now it's Ryan Middle School), the FIRST STOP for the Q31 school tripper (from 64th Av and 174th St) was Utopia Pkwy and Union Tpke. That was what was on the Guide-A-Ride behind the school. A sweet ride too! |

As "33rd Street" mentioned, school trippers is the more likely reason BUT keep one thing in mind though. Kingsbridge has the Bx3 ans Bx13, right? West Farms has the Bx11, Bx35 and Bx36, right? Well it just so happens they all meet at one place. You probably heard of it...the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal? Yes, it's easy for a West Farms's bus to cover a run on the Bx13. Remember, the Bx11 runs with the Bx13 for a little bit in the Bronx. At one point, Amsterdam USE to have a run on the Bx13...but that was years ago. |
