Posted by lbt 9415 on Sun Aug 17 02:39:42 2008 After the MTS Veolia South Bay Facility, our next stop would be the Chula Vista Transit facility....where we got a nice tour.Chula Vista Transit 026 - 1991 Orion 01.507      Some '00-'01 NewFlyer C40LFs   2005 El Dorado EZ Rider  after the Chula Vista Transit yard ....we had our 1 hr lunch break. After that, our next destination was the MTS Veolia El Cajon Facility. San Diego MTS 8521 - 2007 Blue Bird Express 45   San Diego Transit 8037 - 1995 Gillig Phantom 35102TBS50  ...and a 2001 NewFlyer D40LF  ...after the Chula Vista Transit yard, we got a self-guided tour around the NCTD Sprinter facility. Afterwards, some of those rode the Sprinter from Escondido to Oceanside TC.  |

The 35-footer Phantoms are found on routes in the northeastern part of the MTS service area (in the La Mesa/El Cajon vicinity.) |
