If it is in the national pool, then it would mark finally a move to digital signage. What it looked like to me was that these were intended for Boit Bus, and perhaps are a sort of loan between departments, or whatever the internal cororate sctucture is. Since Bolt is regional, they might only be for this area. Have these been seen going anywhere other than Atlantic City? (And would other destinations also have the state abbreviations? No other signs had that) |

Actually, the order of buses for BoltBus (33) also included 17 Prevosts for regular Greyhound service, for a total of 50.Not sure about the signs, because this is the first time Greyhound has had them in buses that they own. |

So you're saying it was planned that those 17 would go to Greyhound? Or could that have been something decided afterward? In any case, if that was part of the Bolt order, it would seem they would not go too far from Bolt territory. Does Bolt have separate maintenance facilities from Greyhound? If so, they might be under Bolt maintenance (with the rest of the order), and not allowed on regular interstate runs beyond Atlantic City, or maybe NY-DC, Boston, or whatever. |

The 17 to Greyhound was planned all along (the order was planned as a 33/17 split). IINM, BoltBus buses are maintained by Peter Pan Bus Lines (BoltBus is actually a 50/50 venture between Peter Pan and Greyhound, but Greyhound has the title to the buses) at their facility next to Secaucus (which is next door to Academy's). |

OK, so maybe Peter Pan won't want them to go outside the DC-Boston corridor. (And that's if they go anywhere besides Atlantic City. Freyhound did use to have a dedicated fleet for the Atlantic City service, painted as "Lucky Streak"). |
