You'd think in the age of "global warming" and high gas prices malls would do better to encourage environment and economy friendly mass transit.The only malls on Long Island that I know of to have bus stops by the mall entrance are both in Metrocard-unfriendly Suffolk, Walt Whitman and Smith Haven. Suffolk has schedules at many of their stops too. Sometimes you have to wonder which county is more mass transit friendly... |
