Some of the ex-SCRTD GM old looks served on SF Muni for a while in the late 70's. I remember taking an ex-SCRTD on Muni's 16X for a while, complete with interior advertisements for the Los Angeles Zoo!Muni's penchant for using other agencies second-hand buses continues--they used ex-SamTrans Flyers in the early 2000's, and they are using ex-AC Transit Gilligs now. (That's not even including the St. Louis and Kansas City/Toronto PCC's from the late 70's, but that's rail.) |
